E.J. Wade Construction is responsible for the construction and operation of a
compensatory stream and wetland mitigation bank on 65 acres in central Virginia.

King William, Virginia

The project includes approximately 1100 linear feet of stream restoration, 28 acres of wetland
creation and restoration, 10 acres of preserved forested wetlands and 15 acres of preserved
forested uplands. The bank will provide off-site compensatory mitigation for projects that result
in unavoidable impacts to streams and wetlands within the bank's service area. The goals of the
bank are to target important ecological functions and related habitat values and to provide a
positive contribution and improved water quality to the drainage basin.
